Dublin City Marathon //Good for Age
Members of Athletics Ireland can apply for a Good for Age place in the Irish Life Dublin Marathon from April 15th. These places are reserved for members who have achieved qualifying times within a specified period as agreed between Athletics Ireland and the Dublin Marathon organisers. Results from the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2022 and 2023 can be used to apply. You will require the following information: ● Athletic Ireland Membership Number (ensure you have the exact details on their database as you are using to enter). ● You use the race number from the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2023 to qualify (available on our results page). ● If you use any other Marathon, a link directly to your result. Applications will be made via link on website. Entering the Dublin Marathon 'Good For Age' does not guarantee you a place in the 2024 Irish Life Dublin Marathon- times will be verified and you will be notified if you have been successful The programme for the Athletics Wicklow Track and Field Championships which takes place on Wednesday 8th May, Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May can be viewed using the link below.

The Athletics Wicklow 5km Road Race Championships will take place on Wednesday, 5th June at Arklow Rugby Club. Registration Opening Soon Alongside Further Details. There will be a Shot Put Webinar on Thursday 11th April at 8pm. It is free of charge and open to all.
The Final Round (R5) the Juvenile League will take place this Saturday 6th April.
Location: Rooster Park, Avoca Y14 PF78 Start time: 10:30am Parking: Please only park in the designated carpark beside the pitch. Marshals will be on hand to direct you. Do not park in the housing estate or block drive ways. Course: A mixture of path and grass. Runners only. Not suitable for spikes or football boots. Stewards: if you have athletes competing you must provide stewards / officials to assist with this competition. Distances: U6 200m U8 500m (1 Lap) U10 1000m (2 Laps) U12 1200m (1 straight + 2 Laps) U14 1500m (3 Laps) U16 1500m (3 Laps) An Assistant Coaches Course will be held on April 27th at Shoreline Leisure by Neil Taylor, the Regional Development Officer in our area . Please note that a minimum number of participants is required to make the course viable.
