Annual Awards

The  Athletics Wicklow Star Awards plays an important role in our annual calendar.

Juvenile League

The Athletics Wicklow Juvenile League comprises a series of races that take place during the winter/spring period. The League is specifically designed for young athletes

Outdoor T/F Championship

The athletics wicklow track & field championships take place in may each year.

Road Race  Championship

 one of the most eagerly anticipated aspects of the County Road Race is the competition between the clubs and how they fare in the team events.

Indoor Championship

The Athletics Wicklow Indoor Track and Field Championships takes place each year during January/February.
the county indoor track and field has been well received among athletes, coaches, and supporters.

Off Road Championship

The inaugural Athletics Wicklow off-road running championships took place in August 2022.
​the event is hosted by Glendalough A.C and organised alongside their annual Run the Ridge Mountain Trail Race.

Senior Cross Country Championship

The Athletics Wicklow Senior Cross Country Championships typically takes place in December and is one of the final fixtures of the year.

Masters Cross Country
​Championship

The Athletics Wicklow Master Cross Country Championship is open to all club members in Wicklow aged 35 and above. County medals are awarded in various age categories starting from O35.
