Registration is open for this year’s Athletics Wicklow Off Road Championship which will take place on Saturday 15th of August. This year’s event will again be held in conjunction with host Clubs Glendalough A.C. Run the Ridge Mountain Trail Race starting and finishing at Laragh GAA grounds.

RACE SCHEDULE
Saturday 15th, August
09:30am - 20 km (limited places)
09:45am – 10km
10am – Junior races

Age Categories
3k Juvenile: Ages 12–16
10k: Ages 17+
20k: Ages 18+
30k: Age 18+ (not championship counter)
JUVENILE RACES
A juvenile 3 km trail race for 12-16 year olds will also be held: both as a juvenile county championship and as an open juvenile race for those not registered with Wicklow AAI clubs. As per AAI rules, any athlete aged 17 years and older is eligible to run the 10km.
PRIZES AND MEDALS
County runners will compete both in the open race (for cash prizes) and in the championship race (for individual and club team medals).
CLUB CUP TROPHY
The Club Cup Trophy is a notable highlight of the championship awarded to the club with the highest medal count across the 10k and 20k event. Eligible medals include All individual medals (Senior & Masters) from both the 10k and 20k. All team medals (Senior & Masters) from the 10k. The overall results is calculated using the Olympic system — ranked by total gold medals, then silver, then bronze
