The Athletics Wicklow Senior Cross Country Championships typically take place in December and are among the final fixtures on the racing calendar.

 

Securing a victory in this championship, both individually and as a team, is a prestigious accomplishment and one of the most celebrated titles of the year.​

 

Clubs must have a minimum of three senior women and four senior men athletes to score in the club team competition. To be eligible, Senior Cross Country athletes must be 18 years of age by December 31st of the competition year.
